Apologies to everyone who has Favourited one of my textures recently (or not so recently!) or supported me by Watching this account but I am no longer in position to acknowledge these individually. I fully intended to continue to do so but as it appears that DeviantArt seems to have completely forgotten that it is supposed to be a showcase for art and is far more interested in selling itself as a Facebook with slightly artistic leanings than in doing something useful like making a spam filter that can actually tell the difference between humans and machines. This useless addition to DA means that instead of spending a few hours answering messages, it would take me days on end (if I could learn to type as slowly as DA wants me to, that is), time that I just don't have....

Anyway, I haven't decided whether new textures will appear on DeviantArt or somewhere else but if they do appear on DA, I will not be able to individually acknowledge Favourites/Friends....

I do, of course, always appreciate all your support and will continue to do so....

Hopefully, you can understand that I would rather photograph things than spend hours typing very slowly so that those who run DA can feel better about their 'community'....
